About
I was born near Turin, Italy, in 1971 from a Neapolitan family. I moved to Rome when I was 18 years old. There, I studied international political science. Around that time, I discovered my passion for photography, starting with shooting black-and-white films and printing my own images at home.
After graduating, I began working in the telecommunications field. Meanwhile, I invested in my photography education at the Istituto Superiore di Fotografia e Comunicazione Integrata in Rome, focusing first on reportage and later following a Master of Photojournalism as a tutor. I also had the opportunity to learn from some of the most acclaimed Italian photojournalists, which deepened my interest in documenting daily life in Italy and Latin America.
After a few years, I decided to leave my job and fully dedicate myself to photography. Today, I am a professional photographer, specializing in weddings and events, as well as street and documentary photography. In 2020, I was recognized as the best Italian wedding photographer by the Wedding Photojournalist Association. In 2022, I was honored as the IPA Photographer of the Year in the Event Category. Most recently, in 2023, my series *I Misteri* won 1st Prize in the Series Category at the PSPI Pisa Street Photography International Festival.
